CoverGirl is one of the top drugstore cosmetics brands. Although they do promote their products with clever marketing and A-List spokespeople, most of their products really do deliver. As an avid makeup fan, here are my top CoverGirl picks:
1. CoverGirl Lip Slicks – These little gems are hands down my favorite affordable lip glosses. They come in an assortment of shades and ring in at a whopping $3 a pop. They give you weightless shine and just the right amount of color. The shades Clear, Pearly Girl and Starlet are great options if you just want the shine without much color. The rest are all just peachy. They’re available in over a dozen shades. My favorite is Bronze Goddess. It looks super dark in the tube, but goes on with just the slightest sheer tint of lovely color.
2. CoverGirl Classic Eyeshadow – This is a classic, tried and true product. They come in a few different finishes (matte, frost, etc.) But, you should keep in mind that the frost eyeshadows do tend to be extra “frosty”. 
A little goes a long way with these babies. I recommend you use the frost formula shadows as a highlight product – and a gentle highlight at that. Just a bit will give you that gorgeous glow on your brow bone or in the middle of your eye lid. Use them sparingly for just the right look. The matte formula shadows are great for everyday use. I love these shadows because the colors don’t look “off”, like most of the other drugstore brand eyeshadows. For the price, they’re pretty spot on and most of their neutral shades will compliment both warm and cool skin tones.
